AKADEMI - EKATRA
Akademi presents Ekatra, an elegant outdoor piece of classical Kathak dance, choreographed by Kumudini Lakhia and adapted by Urja Desai Thakore. Originally developed as part of Akademi’s large-scale production Bells, created for Trafalgar Square, Ekatra is a stunning excerpt of beautiful choreography performed by an exciting new group of emerging Kathak dancers. Akademi recently celebrated its 30th anniversary and has over 10 years experience of outdoor work. Choreographer: Kumudini Lakhia, adapted by Urja Desai Thakore. Composer: Niraj Chag.

INDIA DANCE WALES - SHISHYA
India Dance Wales, a renowned classical Indian Dance Company established in Cardiff, has delighted audiences for almost 30 years with stunning performances and professional touring productions. India Dance Wales also provides educational activities and award-winning dance training programmes for all ages and abilities, and some talented advanced dance students will be performing at the Mela to represent the excellent standards achieved.
FIORA TOULIATOU
Fiora Touliatou is a professional bellydance performer and teacher. Originally from Greece and now based in Cardiff, she has performed across South Wales, Bristol and London as well as her hometown Athens. She specialises in Egyptian style bellydance, but also dances different styles like Saudi Khaleeji, Iraqi Kawliya, Greek chiftetelli, Romani gypsy and modern fusions such as flamenco bellydance and tribal fusion. In this year's festival, she will be dancing a modern Egyptian style with veil and two group dances with her students in a traditional Egyptian style and a modern drum solo.
NASHA
The Cardiff based group Nasha got together because of their passion for dancing in the year 2007. Since then, they have performed in several fashion shows; organized workshops and have taken the opportunity provided to develop their talent further. Nasha, consists of 3 members. Nandini Tewary is also a qualified Bollywood dance teacher and Harsha Sinha and Shailja Tewary, have been involved in various other genres of dancing such as Odissi and Bhangra.
